Master Kim's Wagyu House Review: The Palace Station Korean BBQ We Keep Going Back To

November 2, 2026 · By The Fam Food Fun family

A long dark platter of heavily marbled raw beef at Master Kim's Wagyu House: cubes, thin slices and thicker steak cuts

Some places you try once. Others quietly become part of the rotation. Master Kim's Wagyu House, the Korean barbecue restaurant inside Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, is firmly in the second group for us. We went for lunch on a Thursday in September 2026, and we were back at the same kind of table on a Tuesday in October.

Master Kim's is a local all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ name with several locations around the valley. The Palace Station one is branded as the Wagyu House, and the brand says it is the first and only Certified Angus Beef certified AYCE Korean BBQ, with beef that ranges from upper Choice to Prime. You cook everything yourself on a round grill set into the table.

Visit one: September

The first thing that comes out is the reason to go. Our September platter was a long, dark stoneware tray lined with beef: thick-cut steak pieces, neat cubes with fine white marbling, a pile of thinner red cuts and one big, well-marbled steak, all with flaky salt on top. The round grill sat right behind it.

It was not all beef. A couple of frenched lamb chops with a green herb topping went on the grill next to two steak pieces, and a plate of already-cooked bites waited at the edge of the table. We also had beef nigiri: two pieces of glossy, rosy beef over rice, each with a dab of wasabi, served on a dark plate with little stone bowls of sides behind it.

Visit two: October

Back in October, the platter was even more of a showpiece. One side held cubes so marbled they looked almost pink, the middle had wide, thin slices with lacy fat running through them and the other side had thicker slices with a deep rim of fat. Then it was all onto the grill.

Why we keep going back

It comes down to the beef and the setting. The cuts that land on the table are the kind of marbled, carefully trimmed beef you would expect at a steakhouse, and the setting is polished, with dark stone tables and heavy stoneware. The fact that it sits inside Palace Station also makes it easy: off the Strip, just off the freeway, with casino parking and no big production to get in the door.

Korean BBQ with kids: how it works

AYCE Korean BBQ is a fun family meal if you go in with a plan. You order rounds of meat to share, cook them yourself and keep going until everyone is done. Every table has a very hot grill set right in the middle, so seat younger kids away from it and let an adult run the tongs. The upside is that nothing comes out too spicy unless you want it to: plain salted beef is about as kid-friendly as it gets, and the cubes cook fast.

Lunch is the easy window. Palace Station lists a lunch special from 11:30am to 4pm, and both of our visits were midday. AYCE meals work best when you are not watching the clock, so do not squeeze it in before a show.

What we loved

  • Seriously marbled beef, from cubes to thick-cut steak.
  • Lamb chops and beef nigiri for variety beyond the grill.
  • Dark stone tables, heavy stoneware and a grill built into every table.
  • An easy off-Strip location inside Palace Station.
  • Good enough that we came back a month later.

Tips if you go

  • Reserve on SevenRooms or join the waitlist on masterkimslv.com before you head over.
  • Go at lunch to catch the lunch special window.
  • Start with a small round and order more. You can always ask for another platter.
  • Let the grill get fully hot before the first cuts go on, and cook marbled cubes fast.
  • Confirm current prices and hours with the restaurant. AYCE pricing changes.

Our verdict

Master Kim's Wagyu House is our go-to Korean BBQ in Las Vegas. Two visits in, the beef keeps bringing us back. Go hungry, go at lunch and bring someone who likes running the grill.
